Jimmy Choo Aftershave & Men's Fragrance
As one of the world's most treasured luxury brands, Jimmy Choo is one of the most iconic labels for both men and women alike. Jimmy Choo is by no means a brand that only caters for women. With over 150 stores in 32 countries, as well as being present in some of the most prestigious department and speciality stores worldwide, the Jimmy Choo brand has been a supersonic success since it's birth in May 1996. The first store was opened on Motcomb Street in London, complementing a distribution in some of the most prestigious multi-brand stores in the world.
Two years later, the company expanded to the US, opening two stores in New York City and Beverly Hills. International expansion continued with Jimmy Choo securing locations in the premier luxury shopping destinations of the world’s most prestigious cities including Sloane Street and Bond Street in London, Avenue Montaigne in Paris, Via Condotti in Rome, Madison Avenue in New York, Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, and Ginza in Tokyo.
After graduation Choo began work at a shop in Hackney which he opened in 1986 whilst renting an old hospital building. His craftsmanship and designs were soon noticed by men and women alike and his creations featured on no less than eight pages in a 1988 issue of Vogue. In 1996 Jimmy Choo Ltd was founded, with the help of Tamara Mellon, the British Vogue accessories editor, and soon the sexy cut, fashionable design and exceptional Italian craftsmanship struck a chord with a sophisticated clientele which allowed the first collection to enjoy such immediate and immense success.
Not only does Choo offer an extensive range of men's shoes at exceptional quality, they cater for the modern man by offering the latest trend of men's accessories and bags, offering their very own seperate seasonal collection for men. In 2003 Jimmy Choo was awarded an OBE by the Queen of England for his role in making London the design capital of the world for the fashion industry. He has also been awarded an honorary fellowship by University of Arts London (2009) as well as being the winner of 'The World's Outstanding Malaysian Designer 2011' Design for Asia Award.
In April 2001, Choo sold his 50% stake in the company for £10 million. He has since concentrated his work on the exclusive Jimmy Choo Couture line produced under license from Jimmy Choo Ltd and continues to produce fragrances and scents that are long lasting and high end desirable products. The Jimmy Choo London line, also known as Jimmy Choo Ready-To-Wear include accessories such as handbags and day bags for the modern man. We are also thoroughly looking forward to the further expansion of the Jimmy Choo men's fragrances and aftershaves range after having enjoyed the aromatically sweet and masculine notes of Jimmy Choo Man (2014).
