Elie Saab Perfume & Women's Fragrance

Elie Saab is a Lebanese fashion designer noted for his evening gowns worn by many celebrities on the red carpet. He began his career in 1982 in Beirut when he opened a small boutique. Unlike most designers he is mostly self-taught. Elie Saab mainly designed wedding dresses, but also made regular dresses and other clothing for the women in the neighbourhood.

Gradually he became known further afield and began to get commissions for dresses, eventually moving into high-stakes couture fashion. The use of unusual fabrics and materials as well as his oriental influences made Elie Saab dresses stand out from the rest and in the 90's he started to become famous outside of Lebanon. Saab is the first non-Italian who has managed to become a member of the prestigious Italian Camera Nazionale della Moda.

His dresses became world famous when he designed the dress that Halle Berry wore in 2002 when she won her Oscar. Among Elie Saab's other clients you can find royals such as Princess Beatrice, Queen Rania of Jordan and Princess Madeleine of Sweden as well as famous actress and singers such as Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Mila Kunis, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Emma Watson.

In 2011, the first Elie Saab fragrance for women was launched. Le Parfum became an overnight best-seller in 15 countries. It's a very feminine white floral scent with flowers, rose honey and woods. Elie Saab has since released special versions of the scent, including Le Parfum Intense (2013) and Le Parfum Rose Couture (2016). L'Eau Couture (2014) is a different Elie Saab scent with fresh notes almonds, flowers and vanilla. All Elie Saab scents have been created together with by esteemed master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, the man behind scents like Le Male, My Burberry and Dior Eau Noire.
