Mont Blanc Perfume & Women's Fragrance

Mont Blanc was founded in 1908 by stationer Claus-Johannes Voss and banker August Eberstein who focused their creativity on producing highly reliable and beautiful pens for the most discerning of customers. Their brand status came from a magnificent fountain pen called the Meisterstück and the brand name itself stems from another of their remarkable creations, the Montblanc pen from 1910. They continued production of their Meisterstück pens, which remained a cornerstone of the company's business and revenue for many years. Although they had initially only focused their creativity on pens, by 1935 they also expanded their product range to include high quality leather goods such as writing cases, pen pouches and notebooks.

Dunhill acquired a majority stake in Mont Blanc around 1970, shortly after which the Richemont Group, which also owns other luxury brands such as Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, took over the entire acquisition. It was this new ownership which which prompted the vast expansion of the Mont Blanc product range, with the introduction of larger leather goods such as attaché cases, fine jewellery and precious watches. Then finally, in 2001, Mont Blanc launched their first ever fragrance by the name of Presence. As all other Mont Blanc fragrances launched ever since, Presence was produced in conjunction with Inter Parfums Inc. which allowed Mont Blanc to attain a superior quality of perfume without losing their brand's image of individuality and refined quality.

Other popular fragrances in the Mont Blanc range of perfumes for women are the more intense aromas of Presence d'Une Femme Intense (2004), a sumptuously sweet and floral perfume, the soft and spicy Oriental notes of Femme Individuelle (2004), the warm and Oriental floral notes of Femme de Mont Blanc (2006) and the woody and white floral musk of Legend Pour Femme (2012) to name but a few.
